The Markgrafenkarree residential and commercial building is part of an extensive urban residential ensemble. On the former school grounds between Krausenstraße, Schützenstraße and Markgrafenstraße, in the immediate vicinity of Checkpoint Charlie, a new city block of Berlin was created, for which several renowned planning offices were responsible.
